Mark Vincent, better known as Vin Diesel in Hollywood, is an American actor, director, producer, broadcaster, and screenwriter. He had a fondness for acting from a young age and was involved in theater in New York City throughout his teens. Taking a course in creative writing at his university gave him the inspiration to start screenwriting. Diesel began his entertainment career with his semi-autobiographical short film “Polyhedron,” which he directed, wrote, acted, and produced; it was shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Vin Diesel was born on July 18, 1967, in New York City to his mother, astrologer Delora Sherleen Vincent. He has never met her biological father, although his stepfather is of African American descent, Irving H. Vincent is an acting teacher and theater director. He was always interested in acting and made his debut at the age of 7 in the children’s play “Dinosaur Door”. This talented man attended Hunter College and continued to participate in the theater during his teens. He studied creative writing at his university, which inspired him to write screenplays. Initially, he worked as a bouncer for a club called Tunnel.
