He started his professional career playing for the Miami Heat after he was drafted in 2003 and named to the All * Rookie team in the first season. His parents also separated when Wade was 4 months old. Wade’s grandmother and older sister took care of him after his parents split. His father managed to earn a decent income, so he began living in the suburbs with little Wade. Wade, aged 8, missed his mother, but now agrees that she was not a good mother and that she was addicted to drugs.
